camp discover 2025

Camp Discover- Our annual Camp Discover involves a plethora of opportunities for students to explore the beauty of the natural world. They gain an appreciation for the sights, sounds, smell, and feel of the forest. Students are challenged to view the ecosystem around them as a bustling metropolis, with each organism playing an important role in the ever-rotating wheel of life.

All camp activities involve the educational standard of obtaining, evaluating, and communicating the new ideas and information.

The location of the Forest Heritage Center in beautiful Beavers Bend State Park is the perfect setting to learn about the forest, with over 50 species of trees within a 1-mile radius. Registration is $25 and includes all art supplies/materials, daily snacks, lunch, and a Camp Discover t-shirt.  Applications are available online or campers may register by phone. Space is limited.  Click here to download the 2025 camp application.
