First Saturdays Activities are designed to enhance the visitor’s experience at Beavers Bend State Park. By offering guests a special treat at the Forest Heritage Center, we bring awareness to our museum and its mission.

Join us for our monthly First Saturday educational programs at the Forest Heritage Center Museum in Beavers Bend State Park.

Programs are free and open to the public unless otherwise noted.

Program Information

Programs are held at the Forest Heritage Center Museum in Beavers Bend State Park and run from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Activities are designed for all ages and may include forestry, wildlife, conservation, traditional crafts, local history, and other hands-on educational experiences.
All activities are free and open to the public. Materials and supplies are available while supplies last.
